Engineers Canada generously hosts the Foundation’s Award presentations during their Annual General Meeting. 

In addition, staff at Engineers Canada voluntarily donate to CEMF through a staff project established in 2008.

Past president of the PEO, Claudette Mackay-Lassonde P.Eng, founded the CEMF in 1990, prompted by the tragic events of Dec 6, 1989 in Montreal.  

PEO has supported the Foundation’s fundraising efforts by prompting members to donate during licensing registration.

The Foundation has grown with the support of  thousands of Professional Engineers licenced to practice in Ontario

and their generosity serves to promote engineering as a career choice for women across Canada.
